VP National Sales
A marketing graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver, Jake also minored in sales. Having warehouse, inventory, driving and sales experience he is well equipped to service all your produce needs. He possesses a fierce desire to “make it happen” and that is definitely to the customer’s benefit. When he’s not slinging produce he’s spending as much time with his son as possible. An avid golfer, you can also find him on the links.
With us for more than a decade now, Lizandro heads up operations which is no easy task. His natural ability to trouble shoot and understanding of the big picture allows him to keep our production teams running in top form. An all around great guy and huge sports fan, his bias are of course for the home teams. Lizandro will engage in sports talk without prompting so feel free to invite some friendly banter.
A true industry veteran, Harvey has worked his way up thru the ranks of customer service, warehouse, dispatcher and buyer positions giving him the perspective needed to make the right calls at the right time. He has more than 20 years experience in the industry and pride in doing the job right thus making him an integral part of our team. A Los Angeles native, he can be spotted wearing Dodger blue, sitting courtside next Jack at Lakers games (ok, maybe he just wishes) and waving his Raider Nation flag.
Corry has been eating specialty produce her entire life and selling it for the past 25+ years. Definitely a “foodie”, Corry’s time outside of the office is spent on anything culinary: browsing local markets, attending chef demos, seeking out new trends and ingredients and most often, eating, photographing and analyzing food. This passion for food gives her that special edge in feeding your needs as customers and thus a natural as Sales Manager. Coming from a restaurant and hospitality family, Corry has the perfect blend of specialty knowledge and customer service know-how.
A 25 year industry veteran, Bernadette began her career managing grocery store produce and floral departments. Eventually segueing to the supply side of things with Melissa’s/World Variety she was a great fit as a supermarket sales representative. One thing led to another and she has embraced the foodservice segment and is here to take care of business! When time allows, Bernadette heads for Vegas or the river, keep your eye out for her on jet skis or at the tables!
Having started working with fresh herbs in 1996, Alba is quite familiar with the growing, harvesting and processing aspects of specialty herbs. She worked her way up from processing to buying and has learned to juggle growing regions, weather situtations and crop conditions in order to maintain a consistent supply of product for our fresh herb segment of business. Aside from her commitment to work, she spends as much time with her daughters as she can, often on local hiking and running trails.
