Manzano Bananas are small bananas with hints of apple and strawberry flavors. Best eaten when very ripe, when the peel is golden-yellow with some black spotting. Generally shipped when green or “breaking” color into yellow. Excellent in gift and welcome baskets, mini-banana splits, fruit, dessert and cheese trays as well.
