Kadota Figs are known for their flavorful, practically seedless, creamy amber flesh.  Their skin is a cream color with hints of green, and is relatively thick as figs go.  The Kadota Fig is the American version of the Italian Dattato.  Fresh Kadota Figs are lovely when paired with rich cheeses or salty meats like proscuitto or pancetta.  They may also be grilled, roasted, canned, preserved or dried.
