The Comice Pear is a squat, roundish pear with mostly yellow-green skin with red splatters. Its flesh is a cream color. This is considered by many to be the sweetest, tastiest pear. Its texture is slightly gritty. This pear is somewhat delicate, so don’t cook it…enjoy it raw. Serve in salads and desserts. It may be dipped in chocolate or camel for added sweetness & delight.
