A hybrid of cherries and plums these plums are the size of gigantic cherries. Colors vary from red to deep burgandy on the exterior with yellow blushing to red flesh. Eating mostly like a plum there are slight hints of cherry overtones. These are not to be confused with the Myrobalan Plums (also called cherry plums) of Eurasia. Product is grown in California and available in summer months.
